Batch Manager.
On the timeline.
A DaVinci Resolve Studio plug-in that imports a finished Batch job and attaches each matte to the clip it belongs to, even after clips are renamed or reels rebuilt.
Run your shots in Batch Portal. Bring them home on your timeline, ready to grade.

Manager verifies every match before it attaches anything, and asks you when it can't tell.
Nothing to sign in to inside Resolve.
It brings back the jobs your workspace runs in Batch Portal, on the same credits.
Batch jobs in. Mattes on.
Run your shots in Batch Portal and download the job as a Resolve package. Batch Manager imports it into DaVinci Resolve Studio and attaches each matte to the clip it belongs to.
It doesn't rely on file names. Clips get renamed, reels get rebuilt, and two shots called plate.mov can sit in one project. When a match can't be verified, Manager refuses it instead of guessing.
Six steps. Ready to grade.
Run your shots in Batch Portal
Roto, depth or upscale, quoted before it runs.
Download the job as a Resolve package
The job's folder holds your mattes and a delivery.batchlink file. That file is how Manager knows the job.
Install Batch Manager
Request the installer from support@batch.film, install it, then restart DaVinci Resolve Studio.
Open it in Resolve Studio
Batch Manager lives with Resolve's Workflow Integrations, under the Workspace menu.
Import the job folder
Each matte attaches to its matching clip. If a shot matches more than one clip, you pick.
Grade
Your mattes are on the right clips, at the right frames.
What you need.
Request the installer.
Batch Manager goes out by request while we finish the public download. Write to support@batch.film and we'll send the installer for Mac.
If a matte won't land.
Batch Manager isn't in Resolve
Check you're on DaVinci Resolve Studio, not the free version, and restart Resolve after installing.
You're on the free DaVinci Resolve
Manager needs Studio. Import the ProRes matte files by hand.
The job folder has no delivery.batchlink file
Jobs run before October 14, 2026 don't include one. Run the shots again in Batch Portal to get a delivery.batchlink.
A matte won't attach
Manager refuses a match it can't verify. Check that the clip on your timeline is the same, unaltered media you sent to Batch.
A shot matches more than one clip
Pick the right clip when Manager asks.
Mattes you placed earlier point at old files
Manager doesn't relink. Use Relink Selected Clips in Resolve.
Anything else
Write to support@batch.film with the Batch job ID and your Resolve Studio version.
Questions.
Does it make mattes inside Resolve?
No. Batch makes them; Manager puts them on your clips.
Does it send clips to Batch?
No. Send work with Batch Portal, the Batch API or Batch for ComfyUI.
Does it work in the free DaVinci Resolve?
No. Workflow Integration plug-ins need DaVinci Resolve Studio. In the free version, import the matte files by hand.
Does it relink mattes I already placed?
No. Use Relink Selected Clips.
Where do credits come in?
Credits are spent when Batch runs the job in Batch Portal. Manager imports the finished results.
Does it need an internet connection?
No. It works offline.
Every matte.
