What is Batch Portal Beta?

Batch Portal Beta is the self serve app for Batch, the automated rotoscoping system built for film and TV. Create a job. Drop in a single shot or a whole conform. Write one prompt. Run it. Batch finds every person or object you ask for, and your finished mattes land back on your machine, ready for color and VFX.

There is nothing to integrate. No render farm, no pipeline project, no IT ticket. Download it, sign in, and run your first job.

That is what separates Batch from the masking tools inside the editing and color software you already know. Those work one shot at a time, with an artist driving every frame. Batch was built from the ground up to run a whole show, to a standard that holds up in film industry post.

  Production grade depth maps for entire reels. Use them for relighting, atmosphere, and dimensional compositing.

  2x and 4x upscaling for entire projects or single shots. Take a 1080p finish to true 4K, or push 4K masters further.

The app is free to download. You pay per job in credits, and purchased credits never expire. Rates are listed in the app.

What’s next

Color Convert, Key, and Splines are in development and coming to the Portal. An API is on the way too, so Batch can drop straight into existing studio pipelines. Mattes are just the start.
